This has become my favorite Indian cookbook, as much as anything because the authors' approach to food when traveling is so much like my own.  Or should I say their approach to traveling is food...Whichever, I'm a glutton for the text and recipes of this traveling couple who like nothing more than to spend hours in the marketplaces of the places they visit.  Vibrant, and surprisingly easy recipes that simply entice you into the kitchen.  Beautifully photographed and not to be missed!

Somehow I only recently discovered the writings of this traveling couple thanks to an article on them in the New Yorker in November 2008.  If you've not read them, you've got a great voyage of discovery ahead of you.
