This marvelous composition is created by Ola, a French-Polish artist using handmade paper (her own), flowers, fruits, and even vegetables. How she embeds these materials in the paper is her secret, but the result goes far beyond the concept of the
herborie or representational pressed flower picture. Ola uses her garden of materials like paint to create a tableau. Her works are totally original and unique; each one is signed by the artist. Presented here ready for framing at your discretion. You may prefer to frame the
feuille de fleurs (sheet of flowers) between 2 panes of glass to exhibit them translucently...or you may prefer to frame them matted in the traditional manner. Either way, the result will be exquisite.
The 'Jonquille' series is composed of narcissus, iris, alstroemeria, kiwi, peapods, red cabbage, and yellow squash.
