Provençal tian

After many years of searching, I've finally found a source of the legendary French tian. Traditional in the south of France, this rimmed bowl with pouring lip is heavy and solid. It is the BEST recipient for baking cassoulet, the hearty bean dish of the southwest, or any other dish where you would like lots of crusty surface in proportion to volume. The vase-shape of the tian also lends itself to perfect salad-making, and it is the ideal vessel for holding bread dough while it rises. A must. Available in 3 wonderful colors.
