Inspired by the 18th century art of découpage, and by the famous garden of rose collector Empress Josephine at her palace at Malmaison, these exquisite placemats are made of wood with a lacquer-like finish and entirely finished by hand in a Paris atelier. Sprays of Bourbon and eglantine roses are joined by a florentine iris and a host of butterflies on a robin-egg blue background bordered with yellow. Pair with our butterfly napkins for an elegant table setting.
