Average to dry soils--Clustered bellflower

What a beautiful sight to see clustered bellflower (Campanula glomerata) blazing blue on a French hillside! Familiar to most American gardeners as a stalwart garden perennial, this seed grown from wild-collected stock shows a delightful variation of shades of blue-violet. Clustered bellflower blooms in June and July on 18-24" stems. Attracts hummingbirds and makes a wonderful cutflower. Very hardy.

Sow clustered bellflower directly in light-textured soil in a sunny to partly shaded spot from spring through early fall or start it in pots. It is very drought-tolerant once established.

I've searched for a year to find the right source of French native wildflower seeds to offer you. Here they are! Certified organically grown, these seeds are produced on a family flower farm in the Massif Central. One hundred percent of the process is artisanal, right down to the seed packets which are decorated with drawings of the content plants by the owner.
