This delightful little wild pansy grows prolifically in French mountain meadows, where it weaves its way through the surrounding plants. Covered with violet and yellow blossoms, which are quite fragrant. Occasional color variations occur in this wild strain. Wild pansy is an annual to tender perennial. It self-sows agreeably. Plant in light, rich soil in full sun to very light shade. Important butterfly food plant.
