Sweet mignonette (Reseda odorata) has been cultivated since medieval times for the sweet perfume of its flowers. These are delicate though not showy, in spikes of pale greenish white ornamented with pale orange stamens. Height around 1 foot. Wonderful as a cut flower; a potful will perfume a patio.
