Squash, winter 'Olive'

This rare winter squash has been cultivated and prized in France since 1880. It is in what the French class as potirons, that is the species Cucurbita maxima. The vining plants produce 3 to 4, 6 to 10 pound fruits per plant. The thick, deep orange, fine-flavored flesh of 'Olive' is unequalled for all culinary uses.

Our French heirloom seed is produced organically by a small seed farm in central France. Its production process is monitored by France's rigorous Ecocert program. The seed ships with both an Ecocert certificate and a phytosanitary certificate.
