This beautiful grass is often seen in lavender fields.  I don't know who the landscape artist is who plants it there, but it certainly makes for a beautiful combination.  The incredibly brilliant Provençal sun lights up the grass's plumes in a way that is quite breathtaking.  I always pick some of this grass for dried bouquets around the house.
