The Blonde d'Aquitaine, predictably, comes from the region of Aquitaine in the extreme southwest of France. Along with the Salers, it is one of the top two meat breeds in my opinion. The Blonde d'Aquitaine is also perhaps the most majestic looking of all France's breeds--hugely muscled, with a smooth blond coat.
